Based on its multivalent antibody technology - Tribody™, Biotecnol is focusing on the discovery, engineering and development of novel multifunctional-recombinant antibody molecules for treating major diseases.

Such technology allows the engineering of antibodies that bind to three targeted antigens and hence potentially increase the therapeutic potential of classic monoclonal antibody molecules, in situations where multi-targeting or added functionality is necessary in order to achieve a specific functionality. The Tribody™, technology flexibility allows, easily, the generation of monovalent, bivalent or trivalent constructs. Each new construct constitutes a novel composition of matter with specific functionalities/properties and therefore new intellectual property can be generated, thus increasing the pipeline of the company and building value in the long-term.
