Biotecnol´s facilities in Portugal are located at Lagoas Park in the Oeiras region, 15 Km from Lisbon and just 30 min away from Lisbon International Airport.

Biotecnol’s subsidiary in the USA is located in Durham, North Carolina, adjacent to the thriving biotechnology cluster of the Research Triangle Park and only a few minutes from Raleigh-Durham international airport.
 

The company’s modern and well-equipped 800 m2 facilities at Lagoas Park, Oeiras, Portugal, are situated in a purpose-designed installation for the development of biological products.

Activities are integrated across five main departments:

 

  • Molecular Biology;
  • Fermentation;
  • Downstream Processing;
  • Bioassays;
  • Analytics.

Biotecnol’s operational and quality control are in accordance with industry guidelines, and our facilities are regularly inspected through internal and external auditing procedures. All process development and manufacturing activities are carried out in Portugal.

The company operations in the USA are adjacent to the Research Triangle Park in Durham, North Carolina from where the regulatory, pre-clinical and clinical development of our antibody products pipeline is carried out. The Raleigh Durham biotechnology cluster and its infrastructures rank as one of the world’s most advanced areas for developing biotechnology businesses.
 
In the Oeiras site we combine our state of the art laboratories and ergonomic office space.
